How does the treatment work?
Salicylic acid is known as beta-hydroxy acid, or BHA for short, and has been used for skin care for more than 2000 years. Found in leaves, flowers, barks, and roots, it penetrates deep into the epidermal skin cells (outermost layer of skin) and breaks the bonds that hold skin cells together. This keratolytic, as well as comedolytic effect, accelerates skin regeneration, reduces inflammation, and regulates sebum production. The complexion becomes visibly smoother and purer. Inflammations heal faster and their reformation is prevented. Retinol, which is an A vitamin, penetrates deep into the skin and supports the renewal process
