How does the treatment work?
During intensive peeling with crystals (aluminum oxide), dead skin cells are gently and effectively removed, stimulating the growth of new skin cells. The degree of removal is individually adjusted to the condition of the skin. The skin is rejuvenated and can better absorb active ingredients. Pigment spots, large pores, and wrinkles are reduced. The skin appears more even, radiant, healthier, and fresher already after the first treatment.
Salicylic acid is known as beta-hydroxy acid, or BHA for short, and has been used for skin care for more than 2000 years. Found in leaves, flowers, barks, and roots, it penetrates deep into the epidermal skin cells (outermost layer of skin) and breaks the bonds that hold skin cells together. This keratolytic, as well as comedolytic effect, accelerates skin regeneration, reduces inflammation, and regulates sebum production. The complexion becomes visibly smoother and purer. Inflammations heal faster and their reformation is prevented. Retinol, which is an A vitamin, penetrates deep into the skin and supports the renewal process.
